Hello all,

I have a situation with a Definity G3si R8. One day the system presented a SHDW-CIR alarm in the SPE A (SPE B active). I replaced the duplication interface card in that SPE and the alarm was solved. The system was able to interchange active SPE and all that. A few days after that, with SPE A active a STBY-SPE alarm was detected and the active SPE was not able in any way to communicate with the standby SPE. Avaya asked to change all the SPE cards, but that sounds like the easy way... I changed the Netcon card in the SPE A and the system was ready again and the alarm solved. But a few days after that the alarm is here again.
What do you think?

You need to get into the error log and see what keeps logging errors. Then you can test whatever the error log shows you and replace what fails. You can also post it here and I will see if I can help.

That is problem Mike. When I check the error log and see the codes in the maintenance manual all than they say is than the active SPE cannot communicate with the standby spe. All the tests fail with this same reason. So the error log is not too helpful. And this is the reason why I think the problem must be in the DUP-INT. Anyway I will check the error log to post it here.
