Staying Connected

Hiya, I'm on a MR56PVS-RH1 modem, and dial-up to BT surftime. The only problem is though, that I get dissconnected by the server every 2 hours. Is there any way to program your modem not to recieve these messages from the server?

You dont specify what your ISP is.

I know Freeserve Home Time ditches after two hours. Im sure several of the other providers do this as well. Not really unlimited is it???

Just try setting your email client to check for mail every 10 minutes. This will stimulate data flow, and should keep you connected. Cheers,
