Status shows "loading..."

after 12 hours, assumed it had a glitch, figured stop the job, restart try again...but....log showed it did backup files, but didn't verify? So I shut down server altogether (w2k - does run ms sql) tried again, watched it start up, fire off...loading - running...looked good...left. This a.m. its back to loading. Any ideas ?

Are you using the tape drives on the individual machines, or are you using some sort of tape library(i.e. ADIC)?

Apparently, I'm out of space...Duh! Some cleaning of unneeded files and rearranging has resolved issue!
