status of analog line

Is it possible to configure a line appearance in a button.

to view the status of the line without using this button to make call or to listen to call.

Yes. Just program the line appearance and assign it to the line ID (e.g. 701)

then try setting the call to "No Ring", you can still access the line though which means to your original question: NO
