I am not Nortel savvy. I do Cisco VoIP. Please don't hold that against me. I have the Nortel guys asking me a question and I thought I'd ask it here. We have a customer with a BCM with IP phones running across a MetroE link. The status indicator (on hook/off hook) for the remote phones does not seem to work. If the equipment is brought back to the Main site and connected, the status indicators work correctly. It appears the ME is filtering some sort of signaling for this function. Can someone please tell me what signaling/protocol is used for this?
