I'm running NetBackup 6.0 MP4, and attempting to perform an Application Backup on an AIX5 server. The backup gives a status code of 0 (and only backs up 32K), but the programmer insists the backup is not complete - complete backup should be about 1090000 K. Is there anything I can attempt without removing and reinstalling NetBackup on the client?

I'm not familiar with AIX at all, but it sounds like the policy file list configuration is not set properly and is only backing up a single directory with nothing in it - hence your 32kb/1 file.
Check your policy to make sure it's set to the proper type and verify your file list is set appropriately. Check the manual and review the specifics for AIX clients. Some filesystems will not understand All Local Drives directive. Also, check the compatibility guide to ensure that your client is supported.
