status bar issue and history troubles

Hi

I have two issues I'm having problems with, one is that when i use a roll over button it changes the status bar back to the normal display, and I can't seem to get it to change, can anyone help me with that,

and my second one is can you use the history functions to stop a page being accessed from anywhere but one domain? and if so how

2. No. You could possibly do something server-side with the referrer, but it's easy enough to spoof.
