Status Bar has disappeared in CAD 2

One of my CAD operators status bar (the bottom part of the screen with the SNAP/GRID/ORTHO/OSNAP/OTRAK buttons) has disappeared. I am pretty sure it has to do with modemacro system variable, but I dont see how to bring it back.

If you've changes the MODEMACRO variable to an extremely long sentence, or prompt the button may well be off the screen!

Type MODEMACRO and change it to a single dot .

This resets the variable to default.

If this doesn't work, I'm not sure what's happened!
