Hi, I have a couple of unusual things happenning with the status bar on a few of my pages that I wonder if anyone else is familiar with. Both of these are viewed with IE5.5.

1) I have a frameset that loads a page that displays a dynamicly generated report of entries for each individual user. I also have links back to this page from within a series of forms. When I (or any other testers) click this link, the page works fine, but after the report page finishes loading, the progress bar starts to move across the status bar, as if a page is loading. It moves slowly until it's about halfway across its section and then just sits there. Everything prints out, all of the beginning and ending tags are there, but it's like the browser is waiting for something to happen.

2) I have bookmarks to the development and production versions of this site. I have these bookmarks in the Links folder and the Links toolbar visible. When I select them, they load fine, but the Status bar becomes a solid grey bar. We have SSL set up and the icon displays, but even that just seems to float over it. There are no distinct sections shown. If I go to another site or drop down the favorites menu the status bar returns to normal. Even more strange, when I select these sites from the Favorites menu isnstead of the toolbar, the status bar behaves normally.

As I said, all the pages function the way they should, but I am curious if anyone else knows why this is happenning.

Thanks

Oddly enough, this is the only page in the whole bunch that has no javascript. Just straight HTML.
