Status 196 error

I had 2 clients connected to the same stand-alone drive. The second client was waiting to backup when the other client finished. It got an error 196 - backup window closed.
The window was not closed, it had plenty of time before the window closed. Is there possibly another setting somewhere that times out a backup if it doesn't start after a certain amount of time.

Any info is appreciated.

What kind of jobs do you have - i.e. re they standard file system backups, database backups etc? If it is a 196 then the window is definitely closed - That is one error code that is correct.
