Hi,
We use Ellipse 5.2.3.7 - CICS in HP-UX server.
The size of file named statsfile in directory /var/cics_regions/ellipse_instance/data grows rapidly.
Does anyone know how to reset its size?

I haven’t done much with stats, but it may be worth checking the CEMT and CECI CICS commands in a terminal session, or maybe try turning Statistics collection off by running: cicsterm –r region_name then run ‘CECI SET ST OF’ to set statistics to off.

Also check your Region Definition file(s) under cics_region/database/RD for an entry StatsRecord, make sure it is set to StatsRecord=no.
