Statrep is getting huge

Statrep is full of very useful containing all sorts of stats. However on my domain it is huge 425mb!
It takes forever to open up and find information.

I have checked compact and 96% of this file is in use. So no solution there.

Should this file get this big? How can I reduce its size?

I have 12 domino servers in the domain. 4.6.6b

To do this open up replication settings and enable the "Remove documents not modified in the last:" option.
I've set this to 70 days.

I'm not gonna swear my life to this cause it's almost midnight....

But go into the administator client, the configuration tab and open the server twistie. Highlight configurations and open up the configuration document for your server.

Go to the Activity Logging-> Activity Trends-> Retention.

Deselect the "Use defaults" checkbox and set these to lower settings than the default.

Default server retention setting is 365 days... This should help.
