Dear sir

we have installed recently SV8300 and also pc pro in the system.two of the station numbers gets disconnected after one ring when dialed.
the numbers are 509 and 510. please advise us to restore the same thru the pc pro.

Thanks in advance

I think there is a setting that dioes this for extensions that are fwd all.
- youl probably find its diverted all calls to an invalid number.
try E600>ext :XXX-CCC.

thank you for your reply. but in command e600 its shows none. please advise further to overcome this problem

thanks

Call one of those extensions from a display phone and see what if anything the display shows. Many times that will tell what state the called phone is in. EX: DND, CFWD, etc.

Mr Belevedere

Called the above two extensions from the display phone. The number gets only one ring and disconnected. The display shows nothing like DND/CFWD etc but only shows call duration for one second and disconnected. pl advise

There is a one hit ringing option for stations that are set to call forward all. Aside from that more testing and more information is needed to advance.
1. Are 509 and 510 new extensions?
2. If so, is 5XX valid number plan?
3. Have you tried canceling all FWD and DND options at 509+510?
4. Are 509 and 510 functioning for outgoing calls?
5. Are they IP phones? (PAD card or network issue)
6. If 509 and 510 are TDM phones on the same blade? Was that blade reset?
7. Are 509 and 510 part of an ACD?
8. When all else fails, a system reset may be required. Perform a database back up first.

All excellent questions but may I add, were they previously part of a UCD group? Partially deleted groups (in my experience) can cause a multitude of problems!

Love number 8, always a good tactic on an NEC system. It used to be (in the days of the SDS) that that was the first option!

thanks a lot for the immediate reply for our problem mentioned above. we will come back with details asked for while consulting our system programmer.

thank u once again
