Static Text Not Appearing In .Swf

I'm sure this question has been answered many times and I apoligize if it has. I tried searching this forum and google, but couldn't find a solution. I'm using Flash 8. I have a few .swf embedded in my .html. Everything was displaying properly, I checked it on several computers and browsers and it worked everytime, until yesterday. For some reason the computer did not display any text on every .swf that was on the website. I'm using static text, and common fonts such as arial and verdena. I have no clue why this is not displaying. Does anyone know why this is occuring or how to fix it? The text setting is anti-alias for readability.

if its been working in the past the server might just not hav loaded the flash movies...

usually if its not going 2 work it wont work from the beginning

if this occurs i usually break apart the text and that fixes the problem...

but like i say it shouldnt just stop working one minute when it was fine earlier

I didn't state the problem clearly enough. It has worked fine on all the computers I have tested it on. Yesterday I was on a different computer and tested the site and the text did not display on that computer. The rest of the .swf displays. The actionscript still works, the pictures are still there, but the text just doesn't appear. I've only encountered the problem on 1 computer so far. No clue. Thanks for your reply.

Are you publishing for the Flash 8 player?

If so, did that computer have the the Flash 8 browser plug-ins?

I am publishing with Flash 8, but shouldn't it prompt the user to download the latest flash player, if the one currently on the computer does not have it? Should I publish as flash 7 file?
