Static on PRI - BCM 450

System been in for a month.

User report bad static this morning.
I havent ever had to troubleshoot static on a PRI before.....what should I look/check for.

I have remote access, site is far.

No alarms that I see.

Users say the caller can hear them but they cant hear the caller due to the static.

One way static?

Now I get reports 7 out of 10 calls is when they cannot be heard and is silent with no static most of the time, static some of the time.

I thinks this is related to our last issue, we thought is was fixed with a core-tel patch installed by Nortel support.

There was an official patch just released so will try that.

Sounds like your PRI isnt clocking correctly. You have checked your alarms and dont see any errors?

Sounds like framing errors you can get on copper fed PRI get onto your line provider.

If its not broke tweak it..

No errors but the problem just went away so probaly carrier issue.
450 make me nervous lol
