Static on Phone Manager Softphone

I have a wireless Avaya AWH55-USB headset with an IP406 running Phone Manager Softphone 4.x version. Everything works great except the people I talk to hear static. The static is the same whether or not I am closer to the signal receiver or not.

My phone system wasn't put on a seperate vLAN. So I have 4 IP phones and 13 desktops on the network. I don't know if that is causing it or not. My switch supports VLAN just haven't set it up.

Anybody have other ideas beside the VLAN to remote the static?
