Static on outbound PRI calls

We have two PRI's from the same carrier.
We are hearing static only on outbound calls over both PRI's. Incoming crystal clear. Outbound uniformly have static as soon as the called party speaks.
Have verified sync sources are set. Have tried changing sync source. Regardless of which PRI the call goes out, static. System does not see any slips / errors on the circuits.

Ideas?


 
Yes. They are taking the circuits down again tonite for intrusive testing. Additionally, the are replacing some equipment.

 
Are these circuits using legacy ds1 boards or media-module in media-gateways?
verify FW for boards and media-modules are the latest and possibly media-gateway and VOIP firmware.
Sometimes reseating the boards/media-modules or a reboot of the media-gateway will help to eliminate Avaya hardware issues.
