Static on ATM lines

Receiving static on CO calls on several ports that seems to travel from line to line. I do not hear any static with the test set on the carriers block.
Swapped out the Analog Trunk 16 module and cables but static remains.

Anyone else seen this?

 
Make sure the processor and all the modules are properly grounded. Also make sure you are using the Avaya provided 1m blue interconnect cable to connect the module to the processor.
 
All modules are grounded and I am using the blue patch cables that come with the modules.

aarenot - it is on all phones. You can dial out and as soon as it grabs a CO line you hear static. hang up and try again, no more static. Its probably 1 out of every 3-4 times and on every phone and no 1 particular CO line.

They are also comlaining of calls dropping in the middle of a conversation but I, nor any other techs has witnessed the drops.

I have installed lots of IPO's and never had an issue with static. The only thing different on this one is we are using 3.2 (54)


 
Eliminate one line from the group at a time, test, and see if it goes away.
