System config -
MSS backend with 2 MAS running MM3.0 with SP2
Avaya SES SIP intergration 48 ports in total
Testing to date -
When i dial in to MM, all the prompts playback perfect.
When call IP phone to IP phone, voice quality perfect
Issue -
When dial MM to retrieve messages, the message playback is horrible. The generic prompts are still perfect, just the recorded message.
When recording personal greeting, playback of greeting is horrible.
Anyone have any clues???
This is my first MM with SIP and the first one in our region so support is a little hard to come by.
I have verified that the audio encoding is g711Alaw in VMSC as well. G711Alaw is correct for my region. I also changed to G711MuLaw, but no change after stop/start of services.
I was told that there is somewhere to change this as well in MSS, but cant find it documented anywhere.
Anyone overcome a similiar issue, or know if the MSS part of encoding is true ???
