I have two Windows 2000 DC's, the FSMO is 192.168.0.21, the other one is 192.168.0.20. The wierd thing is on the DC that has an IP address of 192.168.0.20, in the GUI Internet Protocol properties tab shows no ip configuration, it's like it is running of of DHCP. When I do an ipconfig /all, it say it is a static IP. Any ideas??

It may sound simple but are you looking at the correct adapter? Most servers have at lease two nic cards installed. Perhaps you are looking at wrong one??

That is a good point... I do have two nics, the other one is disabled becuase it was flaky. I can't remove it because it is onboard. It used to have the same IP address though. Could this be the problem?
