I have a Norstar MICS 6.0 with a straight T-1. We are using 18 trunks on this T-1. The customer has been having some problems getting outside lines. This morning there were only 3 people in the whole suite and yet they were getting a "no lines available" message. I am wondering if I am not having trouble with individual trunks locking up on the T-1. Is there anyway I can look at individual trunks and see if any are locked out or disabled?? **Also, I am using the internal CSU for this T-1**

Thanks in advance!

under Maintenance/Link status/ you can check each B and the D channel.

The link status only allows me to see the link to the card.
This circuit is straight T-1, no PRI.

If you have a RAD you can set up the rad remote set tool to be a 7324 set then you can go into programming and set each of your 18 trunks to appear on the set. what you end up with is a visual display of your trunks and you can tap each button to see the status such as in use 223 or not available. BTW shouldnt you have about 1/2 of the trunks DID?

sorry, not on T1. Jerry's suggestion will work.

You could install or designate 2 7310's with lines 1-9 on one and 10-18 on the other. Then you will be able to monitor the channels of the t1, see if you can get dialtone on all the trunks and if any are busy.
Same idea as jerryreeve stated but if you don't have nru or a 7324.

Thanks everybody - I am using a RAD so I set it up that way. I have a few trunks that when I try to access them they tell me now in service, but when I deprovision and then reprovision them they come back up. Any idea why this would happen?
