My /var/adm/messages is loaded with entries like the ones below.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I go about tracking down what process is trying to send an email to root (if this is the case)? Also, what does "delay=3+07:27:23" mean?

Check your root's mailbox if there are million messages waiting to be downloaded. I don't understand how your server isn't crashed.?

Well, the server kinda crashed, no one could connect to it so it had to be rebooted. When it came back up I didn't see anything out of the ordinary (except the

messages). I did check root's mailbox and there was only one message, from last month or so.
