I am pretty shure that there is a dba or v$ view that has the time an inistance was started. I searched for it without success. Does anyone knows this one?

Thanks

Yup, you can use v$thread OPEN_TIME column to know what date & time was the database last opened.

You can also check your alert log for the open time.

You can also get the instance startup time from v$instance
select startup_time from v$instance;
