We have a HP9000 11.0.

Whenever the scripts start up, or if I manually start a
script from /sbin/rc#.d directories, this is what I get.

Output from "/sbin/rc1.d/S320hostname start":
----------------------------
/sbin/rc1.d/S320hostname[36]: B: not found.

We also have fibre channels A and B with autoraid.

Not all scripts give this error message. And even tho' I get this error, the script still starts the services.

Any ideas out there???

Hello:

Firsto of all check that S320hostname is a link to /sbin/init.d/hostname
Check that file has the right permissions(555)
Check the hostname in the file /etc/rc.config.d/netconf is properly set

I don´t know if you have done this thing but they should be the first steps.

I hope this help.
