startup script

i have domain windows server 2003 and 35 workstations of windows xp pro. i need startup bat script over gpo, which start install setup of program. share folder have share and ntfs permission authenticated user modify. domain user have right local administrator. my script is

echo off @
\\server01\particija\setup.exe

but the script doesn't work. why?

You should look at using a vb script, in my opinion its easier than batch files. And there are a lot more examples on the net. A good start is Marks logon script in the FAQ section.
