Hi

Just want to check this will work.

I want to run the following command on bootup:-

/usr/bin/perl /u01/u04/utlfile/callacctg/xetad

So if i put this is a file called start_xeta.sh and save in /etc/init.d

then create a soft link to it in /etc/rc2.d/Sxteta

Or is there anything else I must do??

thanks in advance!

change the link to 'S99xteta' instead of Sxteta ... the 99 will mean it will start up at boot (after everything else) ...

I think the x was meant to represent the number in Mr Cunningham's original post?

I want to be good, is that not enough?
