Startup openSSH on HP-UX 11.0

Hello: I installed OpenSSH 3.8pl and OpenSSL 0.9.7d on a HP-UX 11.0 box. But I can never get OpenSSH up. So far, the prngd is up, bur /var/adm/rc.log does not show any error on OpenSSH startup. Does it require any patches? Thanks.

did you use a depot file from hp.com? or a "free" source?

They are not from HP.com. Both OpenSSH and OpenSSL are shareware.

we are running the openssh depot bundled with the hpux OS...
so if you are facing unsolvable problems, why not install the hp files? afaik they are free of charge
