When I start XP and log into my name, most of the time it freezes before fully finishing the bootup. I'll see some of my desktop come up, and then at some stage (not the same everytime) it will freeze. I'll hard restart, a few times, and eventually it gets there. Other Uers on this computer log-in and do not have this trouble.
Thank you!

This sounds 99% certain to be a profile issue. If it was hardware, it would do the same thing for other people. Your choice is really whether to troubleshoot it or just nuke it and start again, Inhand. Logging in as another user, right-clicking on My Computer, and going to User Profiles and deleting yours may well do the trick. Alternatively, you could try copying yours to a second login account and see if that works aswell. Heh, lots of ideas.

Personally, I'd copy yours over to a second account so that you have a backup of your original profile if you want to go back. Then I'd either copy a working profile over to your name, or delete your profile and log in again to recreate it.
