I am trying to use Remote Desktop on an XP box to connect to Windows 2000 server. When I attempt to start terminal services on the Windows 2000 server, it attempts to start and then says "Terminal Service error 1053"
How do I fix this, so I can connect to my Windows 2000 Server via remote desktop?

Have you installed Terminal Services on the 2000 server? Did you install in Admin Mode or in Application Sharing Mode? If the latter did you install Terminal Services Licensing?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
