Starting Program After Re-boot

I have been using Adobe Illustrator CS on my Win2K box for about two months now and every time I boot up my machine and start Illustrator for the first time I get this:

Pissing me off. Especially when I have a sales person or a client standing here waiting to see some artwork.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Use Seardh - specifiying showing hidden files - and look for "aiprefs" without the quotes. Trash that. Make sure ILL isn't running when you do this. See if that helps.

If not, uninstll ILL, then go through the trash prefs thing again, Quit all apps, turn off any Antivirus/Antispyware etc, software and reinstall ILL.

This problem typically occurs when there's either a corrupt font or too many fonts on your system... People have had success deleting recently installed fonts, or reducing the number of active fonts (ie by using a font manager) on their system. Aiprefs deletion will not fix this problem.
