Within the past few weeks our backup server has had numerous errors with arcserve, and I would like to do a configuration from scratch, but I am not sure if that would be the best answer. I was wondering if I need to uninstall the agents from all servers or just arcserve from my backup server

What if you shared the errors with us, and a brief history of your Arcserve install, Arcserve patches, event log messages, Arcserve behavior, OS version, etc?
It will be much less painful than a complete re-install.
