I currently work in the Telecommunications industry. I have a little over a years worth of experience. My work has given me the opportunity to learn quite a bit about different equipment in the telecommunications field. I enjoy my job but I am also looking into doing other local service work on the side. I am thinking anything from residential services such as installing home theater and security systems to business services such as security and networking systems. I live in Minnesota and am curious to find out what kind of licenses/certifications I will need. Any Ideas or advice on this entire topic would be greatly appreciated.
