When ever I start a Job it comes back and asked for the tape to be mounted. I have Mounted all 18 Tapes in my changer several times but, it gives me the same error.

OK-
It may be that you mounted the tapes, but Arcserve doesn't seem to know about it. The next time you mount tapes, STOP the Arcserve tape engine BEFORE putting the media in the system. Put the media in the system, then close the library/changer door(s) and then restart the Arcserve tape engine. This forces Arcserve to inventory the newly updated slots, which will populate the Arcserve registry and database with the correct media information.

Jim provides one of 2 good solutions. The other solution would be to perform a "dismount" from Acrserve of all your tapes first. Then, unload and reload the new tapes into the tape changer. Let the tape changer unit finish initializing itself. Once completed then perform a "Mount" from Arcserve. This will re-inventory all your tapes as well and should resolve your problems.

Let me know how you make out :)
