Is there any way i can see the process so i can tell where its failing?
i am using redhat 7.1
it worked fine before.. rebooted and it stopped.. Don't know if it was something was installed or not since its admined by different ppl. Pls advice

Hi,

Did you check the log files for any error messages. I think on redhat they would be at the following location by default :

/var/log/httpd

There might also be something in

/var/log/messages

Check the httpd.conf syntax with :

/usr/sbin/httpd -t

Apart from that, try starting the server manually in the foreground to see what messages it gives ..

/usr/sbin/httpd

Regards
