Hi

How can I start an application automatically on boot-up? I'm using OpenUnix 8, and want to load two samba daemons. I don't think I need the facilities of matching rc2.d and rc0.d scripts. I had read that I could just put a script into /etc/rc.d/8 but this directory doesn't exist on my server - I think the thing I read may have been for OpenServer.

Thanks in advance

David
