When two published apps run from the same server

Citrix used to quickly start the second app from the same session, now it starts a whole new session....any ideas or setting changes I need to make?

Have you assigned any connection licences to servers? the second app will only start in the same session if the first session is using a pooled license. assuming you are using MF XP.

not entirely sure, I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to 1.8. it might be worth looking at though. the big guy (C.E) might have a better idea.

Are the settings of the published applications the same ?

If there are differences, there will be created a new session.

pandomas, I had the same suspicion, however I verified the published apps are the same, I even tried doing a copy of one of the published apps and it still launches a new session. (I also reduced encryption to basic, still got a new session)

Pandomas, we don't allow desktop access, too many security headaches so I published MS Word - Excel - PP and MSACCESS as applications only. What the deal is..when launched users are asked if they want access to their Novell personal and share drives, if they say yes then the server maps them. The idea was that when they launch another MS Office app it starts the app (with the same mappings) rather than a whole new session which they have to reauthenticate to Novell.
