Hi everybody,
I am starting to learn vba .Which is a good online resource for starting vba.
Also want to know the IDE used for it?

Hi AddyKOOL,

This forum is a good online resource - it's helped me a lot. Also I have found the following sites useful(in no particular order):

The IDE is to be found within the MS Office applications, in Tools > Macro > Visual Basic Editor (or Alt-F11). The VBA help files accessible from the editor are also a good source of information for getting started (you may need to add the VBA help files from your MS Office CD, as they are not installed by default).

The SDK can be found via a search on MSDN (
I hope this helps you on your way, SteveB.
