THIS IS ALL IN REFERENCE TO A STARTALK 4-PORT VOICE MAIL AND MICS SYSTEM WITH 6.0 SOFTWARE.
Hello friends:
I'm trying to figure this out here at the church where I am so that when I set up a new system next week at another church, I'll know how to program it:
1. Our church has several offices. There is the main line, and then the offices have their own personal line that just rings in their office.
2. When someone calls the main number, the voice mail system answers, and goes the through the usual press 1, press 2, etc.
3. When a caller calls the personal line directly, it goes directly to that person's voice mail greeting!! If I press *, it goes back to the main menu, like you were calling on the main line.
My question is: How do I program this? When someone calls a personal line, how do I set it up so that it goes right into their mailbox? I tried to figure this out on my own yesterday, but couldn't figure it out.

The next question I have is regarding the initial setup and initialization of the StarTalk VMS. When everything is hooked up, what is the process of initialization? What happens during initialization?

Do I program StarTalk with the F983, 1020000 setup like normal?

Will/Can the voice mail system announce the number of the person who left a message when a user plays back their messages in their voice mailbox?

We don't have StarTalk here; instead, we have an Applications Module, and I'm not exactly sure what voice mail system we have. When I program our voice mail here and do the F983, 1020000, the display shows MBOX, AA, OTHR. Will the StarTalk show similar displays?
