I have a customer with an 8x24 DR5.1 and startalk C. The AA is set to answer all lines. It seems to work well most of the time but now and then the vm will send the dialed digets (221, 222, 223, etc) to the wrong station or it will not recognize the digets at all. Could it be a bad port? It is a 4 port system and maintenance sees all the ports ok. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Very often on copper based voice cards the ports would go bad.
If the problem is intermittent as you say this would indicate that one of the lesser used ports 2-4 is bad.
This can be tested however it is a lengthy process.
You busy out each channel when there is no activity on the mail by pressing feature985 to busy out a single channel for about thirty seconds.
You then dial into the next channel and test the dtmf recognition/speech quality etc...
You will need one set available for for each channel you wish to busy out using feature985 and you must test quickly as there is a quick timeout for feature 985 which will free up the channel and ruing your testing.

Once the defective channel is isolated you will know which DN to disable in maintenance or which card to replace.
If you have a four channel voice card you will just replace the card but without testing first you may be throwing your money away on a replacement card.

We have a Nortel:Norstar 0x32 with ICS 4.0 and recently in some extension when receive a new voice mail doesn´t appear the "message for you" in the phone but if you access with Feature 981 you can heard all your messages, we use models T7100 and T7208, I don´t know to fix it, in order to return the "message for you" on the phone´s display when receive a new VM.

Bg,
Try dialing F#806 on the effected sets. Also ensure MSG Notification = Y in MBx admin.
