I have 2 Startalk Mini which seem to be in the inactive mode. One has rebooted after I unplugged it and now has gone into inactive mode and I cannot reboot them. The other just won't boot. I've always beleived the problem lies within the software or the hard drive, most likely the hard drive.
I've taken the mini apart and found that the hard drive is a Western Digital WDS280 hard drive with Capacity 80MB, P/N 95F7193 Nortel has bought this from IBM which had purchased it from Western Digital.
My question is, if I track down a WDS280 hard drive or equivelant, is there anything programmed on this hard drive to talk to the Flash or is this a generic hard drive which is managed by the software within the mini? What would be an equivalance and if I increased the size of the drive would it give me more record time?
Thanks
