A Mini will probably work up to DR4.1, perhaps higher. The symptoms you start seeing are weird transfer problems when the software is not compatible.

If you can get a hold of an old flash 2.0, then you won't have to worry about sw issues, and the flash has more features to work with.

I installed the Mini onto a CICS with 4.1 software and it worked! Now we'll see if it works reliably. Thanks for your input!
