Greetings-

I have a StarTalk 330 with the original Quantum 80MB hard drive. I have duplicated this hard drive to 2 other hard drives, an old Quantum ProDrive and an HP C2247 hard drive. Both drives are 1GB, but my hard drive copier just copied it as an 80MB partition. I tried to put in the newer hard drives, and neither will come up to diagnostics. Does the SCSI controller have a limit to what it sees or is there a special jumper setting I need to have? I have it set to ID 1 like the original is set to.

Thanks

I know on PC's, both mainboard and OS limit the size of the drive you can install. I'm not sure you can get around it.

Yes it's not vista or xp
The other thing is if using ACRONIS or some other program it's only going to make an image of that size disk. No matter what size disk you restoe to. The rest of the disk wont be there unless you use disk director
i really ont think it would work anyway
