Startalk Flash passwd problem 1

The Coordinators passwd was reset using F985 but I am having passwd trbls with the passwd for the Gen MBOX 100. I used F983 MBOX CHG Reset Passwd YES but when I try to access the MBOX 100 it says chg passwd. I then chg passwd but after that the ADMIN coordinators passwd does not work any longer and has to be rest using F985 again. The new passwd for MBOX100 does not work either. Anyone experienced this trouble?

I have not experienced that problem.
Do you have some conflict in the DN's assigned to the mailboxes? Or, do you have a DN assigned to the mbx 102?
What DN is assigned to 100, and what DN is assigned to mbx 102?

MBOX102 is DN250 and MBOX 100 is an info MBOX so I don't believe it has a DN.

By info MBOX I meant Gen Delivery MBOX.

if 100 does not have a DN assigned, that would mean to access it you have to get the log prompt from any phone. Is that what you are doing? You say "you don’t believe mbx 100" has a DN assigned, but you need to look and confirm that.

Also- why do you have a working DN assigned to mbx 102? This is not a typical thing to do (in my experience,) and it may be causing your problem. It is standard to leave 102 assigned to ext 102- so that it does not alert anywhere. Then you access it via feat 983.

I will confirm that 102 does not have a DN.
I was going to reset MBOX100 using F9857 but I could not remeber the passwd for that application. F9859 worked well to reset the Coordinators MBOX.

to reset 100- you just go in under feat983 and reset it like any other mailbox. 985-7 is for the operator password (feat982,) and does not pertain to the gen deliv mbx.
