Startalk B1 channel not available

Have a customer with 8x24 DR5.1 Startalk 2.0L. When I go into Maint. port dn status and look at the vm ports B1 says not available B2 says stk1. Any ideas why B1 would say that, the vm seems to work ok.

How do I look at it if the system says it is not available?
