Startalk 180 Software Upgrade ???

We have upgraded the software on the MICS to 2.0 (from Rel 1) the startalk 180 we have is not responding.

The software version of the Startalk is V1.0.16 Rel 01A (it reports as 06JM116 in the maintenance section). If we revert back to the older MICS software it starts working again. Would I be right in guess that this software needs upgrading too ?????

If it does need an upgrade, where can I download this ????

startalks last upgrade was 2.0.04l was for r1t1 ...mics 1.1 worked but was flaky....there is a 16 pc floppy set to upgrade "old floppy 5 or 6 inch" and a floppy reader that you would need to accomplish... why would you upgrade to 2.0 we are currently at 6.1...what did 2.0 get you???

The UK mics 2 software rel 7.02 supported bri/pri, hence the upgrade. besides here in the UK people were asking $800 for the V6 mics software cartridge.

Well I'm across the "pond" & it's possible to upgrade the Startalk 180 to V1.4. I have a copy of it. It will need a tool to upgarde the software via a pcmcia slot.
I use the Elan card reader, which works fine on the Compact plus systems.
