Hello guys!

Id like to have the Icon to be set dynamically when I open my access. is this possible?

let's say...I placed my access file on c:\rciis\test.mdb, also the test.ico as its default icon on the same directory. is it possible that when I change the source directory to c:\test.mdb the Icon will dynamically update/attach itself?

Thanks...

supposing you have a startup form, that opens when the db is opened. put the following code in the on open event of the startup form:

Code:
Application.CurrentDb.Properties!AppIcon = _
Application.CurrentProject.Path & "\myicon.ico"
Application.RefreshTitleBar

Notes:
1. this only works if you once have set the application icon manually via tools->startup
2. I think the code should work with Access 2000 and 2002, not shure if it works with Access 97

[blue]Typos, that don't affect the functionality of code, will not be corrected.[/blue]
