Start Skype minimized

We HAVE to have Skype installed and running in my work (Why? Who knows…?) on Windows 7 computers. Fine. But is there a way to set it up so Skype loads/starts minimized?

I did a lot of Google search and seems to me a lot of people have this problem and I could not find any solutions.

I do have Skype’s set up (‘gear wheel’ icon – whatever that is, no name – Tools – Options – General – “Minimize to the notification area instead of the task bar” check box is checked), I changed Skype’s shortcut in my Start – Programs – Microsoft Office 2015 – Skype for Business – right click – Properties – Shortcut tab – Run – Minimized. I did try several other suggestions from Google search – nothing works.
Skype still starts ‘in-your-face’ on the screen.

How to make Skype to load/start minimized?

I haven't tried it nor researched it, but is it possible to allow the service to start, but not the startup entry for the program? Perhaps it'd be "running" that way, but not really visibly running?

Because Communicator got renamed....

Mind you Skype for Business has little to do with the traditional Skype you may be familiar with; it's pretty much a different product (Lync merged with a few traditional Skype features) branded as Skype. Right now, though, many of us at our company find Skype for Business a retrograde step from Communicator/Lync
