Hi there,

I have got a problem in my company:
The Start- Site of the Internet Explorer gets reset after a while. Its putting the HP Site as the start site in intervals.
Is there an entry in the registry where its possible to reset that so the start site wont be reset automatically?
I mean i can reset it in the system preferences but after a while, its beeing set back to hp again.
Any suggestions?
thanks a lot!

Luke,

I have never heard of this before, where you are being directed to the HP site, but you might want to check your PC for some type of Browser HiJack program. Viruses also can change your IE Home Page. Not sure if this helps or not.

well I already thought about that too...
The only problem is, that we would have to
install applications for this (Somekind of cleaner
apps to delete all the registry hiJack entrys).
We cannot install apps inside the company, we will
have to search for another way...
(We got OfficeScan NT VirusScanner and it didnt detect any virus...)

if its not spyware, which it sounds like it is. you can set the homepage via a GPO if you have a 2k domain.
