start QT playing as soon as possible

I want to have my QT’s starting playing as soon as possible rather then wait until the full download is complete.
Is there a way to start playing after a 1/3 of the movie is downloaded. It’s seems to me that it would play uninterrupted after that as the final 2/3 will continue to download while the user watches the first.

Any one know how to accomplish this?

I believe what you are looking for is something called "progressive downloading".

I tried a google search and came across this website

Try that and see if it helps your cause. I am sorry I cannot offer you more information, I usually don't use quicktime...
