start menu folder redirection issue

Hello all,

Ok here is what I am trying to do. I have set up a share that has the shortcuts that I want to have appear on the start menu. Just a couple office apps and a program we use so the user will have limited access to anything else.

Using folder redirection for the start menu this works great, however once in a while when i log on a user the accessories folder, windows media player and internet explorer shortcuts are automatically created and sent to my shared start menu folder.

Why is that? its driving me bonkers

I use a VBScript to delete these items in a logon script.
